The Party Manager organizes all aspects of birthday parties and group events including contacting interested individuals, managing reservations in PoS and scheduling staff.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees retail store operations to company standards; ensuring effective implementation and maintenance of programs.

  • Demonstrates/Sells products to customers, explaining benefits, features, prices, quality, value and other information, builds the business through outstanding customer service.

  • Ensures visual standards are appropriate and support the brand image.

  • Notifies supervisor of competitive activities.

  • Develops information on retail customers to enhance sales; maintains customer log.

  • Plans, coordinates and sets-up for special events and promotions.

  • Maintains communication with Supervisors regarding retail sell through, activity recommendations to increase sales/inventory and accommodate retailer issues.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • supervises team of up to 5 party hosts

  • Provides courteous customer service and responds to customer’s questions, complaints or requests. Directs any unresolved issues to the General Manager

  • Assists supervised staff in their job performance during peak activity periods or as required

  • Schedule, coordinate and manage birthday party requests and reservations

  • Ensure that party schedule and details are completed accurately and on time

  • Order and manage pizza delivery and inventory of party supplies

  • Operates Point of Sale (POS) system including deposits and party transactions

  • Create a fun and enthusiastic environment for all guests

  • Answering calls & explain different packages with potential clients

  • Maintains an image of competence and professionalism to customers, employees and management

  • Maintains proper employee/employer relations and addresses any questions in a timely and open manner, including disciplinary actions, recognition and performance evaluations

  • Provides or performs other services or duties as required by General Manager

Qualifications & Skills 

  • Active in Social Media (Instagram & Facebook)(preferred)

  • Organized, adept at time management, and problem-solving

  • Must have a strong customer service focus and can communicate effectively with prospective clients

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be able to learn quickly and respond positively to complex situations

  • Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently

  • Outstanding attention to detail

Experience:

  • Experience managing and motivating a team of young employees strongly preferred

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)
